Since this inquiry was made, the MBTA installed a cross walk in the area to access 257 Ivory Street. Notwithstanding, the transfer station does not typically accept foot traffic and has made other arrangements to ensure that residents are receiving the necessary services. This includes:
1. the option to put two bulk items and two extra bags out each week and
2. the availability of additional carts for purchase if additional capacity is needed.
Carts can be purchased in the Collector's Office and will be delivered upon purchase.
