The MBTA commuter rail purple line and mass turnpike are both near residence. The noise made by trains passing on rails and cars passing through at high speed seriously and badly disturb and lower the normal life quality of the nearby residents. Especially at night, sleep in such a noisy environment can be painful. Noise test can be done near the location. Noise barrier could be a solution to the problem.
