This is a picture of the trash piled in backyard. This has been reported over a month and a half ago. The pile keeps getting bigger and the property manager claims that he can leave it indefinitely due to a demolition permit. We have called the permit office and no such application exists, nor can construction debris be left in uncontainable form. Please someone have this drug house condemned.

Does anyone know who owns this property?

It is owned by a Rich Properties LLC. This is a Chinese investor who has purchased multiple properties in the area and typically just barely makes them habitable before renting them out on short term basis. Tampabay Times did an article on Mr. Woo a few months back about this very issue.

Very interesting since the house across from me is also owned by a investment/management company. It's been vacant and without squatters yet, thankfully. The family that lived there before moved out around 6 months ago. Since then there have been people there cleaning it out, repainting, but other than that it's been idle (maybe a good thing). Still, something and someone will eventually move into it, hopefully a buyer, not a renter. No prejudice against renters but 9 times out of 10 owners take better care of where they live.

Just read the Times article. Yeah, class act Mr. Woo isn't. I believe in commerce but commerce with a heavy side order of ethicality. Dude doesn't care about anything other than the bottom line. Too bad we couldn't all pool together and buy a scab house in his neighborhood, do the airbnb thing, lease it out to a biker gang (not club), and have a bit of retaliation 3 fold:)
