OK, Scout Park is the responsibility of Parks and Rec. So let's get it done!

Scout Park is not the responsibility of Recreation and Parks...it has always been the responsibility of Public Works. I will forward this issue to them and happy to discuss it with you. My number is 510-773-3889.

Request has been forward to Pacheco Landscape to address the irrigation and liter.

Dried grass is due to EBMUD ordinance and agreement for maintenance is pending council approval.

To all interested parties for clarification: Scout Park is the responsibility of Public Works. The department director is Liam Garland whose office is at City Hall West at Alameda Point. Phone number is 510 773 3889. Recreation & Parks is not responsible for maintenance.

This is a terrible ongoing problem.
The excessive garbage shows people that this area is ignored and then encourages more bad behavior or camping out.

The garbage can is overflowing again! Again, zero maintenance unless someone complains.

Site maintenance is schedule on weekly basis by LandCare and my site inspections shows that the area is properly kept. The irrigation will not be re-activated due to EDMUB Water Efficiency Landscape Ordinance that forbids irrigating turf.
