Description
Drainage ditch behind our house is clear and open, when we get even 1 inch of rain, the water drains downhill and then backs up from neighbor's yard into our yard and with last summer's rain in Aug. rose onto our lanai and up to the house wall. Neighbor states his yard drains OK but won't inspect or let us look at the drainage area between our fence and his.

Thank you for taking the time to “Report an Issue” via Doing Things for you! A Public Works Sr Field Coordinator has investigated and this apparently is "lot to lot drainage" into an apparent ditch or swale in their back yards which the county does not have an easement over. This is private site plan issue and has been transferred to Pinellas County Building and Developmental Review Department “Doing Things for YOU!” to research. If you have any additional questions or concerns please contact our Customer Service Department at (727) 464-8900 or via email at pwopsweb@pinellascounty.org and reference closed Work Request #1726321.
