Yes, please.. In addition PLEASE paint/sign 'do not block box' areas at Williams/Pearl, and also Williams/Winnisimmet. This intersection is very difficult to navigate or exit Williams St b/c cars are blocking both lanes of Williams while trying to inject themselves into R lane of Williams (from Winnisimmet-North side) headed toward bridge. This results in all lanes being blocked and nearly impossible for exit from Winnisimmet (Water/ South side). It is also very dangerous to cross as cars cannot see beyond SUV/truck/car in front. Please be liberal with the paint and signage!!

how about painting a line on 4th st so people won't have to play a game of chicken its getting crazy they drive right up the middle of the street.

I know the crosswalk has been reported on here 6 times for Williams/Winnisimmet Street, but I want to give you an idea on how bad it truly is. Below are pictures from my jog this morning as well as waiting 20 seconds to cross and still almost getting side swiped (picture below as well). I implore someone from the City just to try and walk across tomorrow morning at 8:30AM and you will understand why residents have been asking for this since July.

i too have asked for DO NOT BLOCK signs at these busy intersections and havent heard back. I think my request was actually closed with no action.

The double yellow lines have been painted. There is still a need for white lining to make lane demarcations. But, given the weather, that will need to wait until Spring.
