County needs to send someone that understands that water does not run uphill. The mouth of this drainage pipe is lower that the ditching is supposed to drain into. All past attempts of bandaging it have failed. You'd think after 25 years they would figure it out.

Mosquito control comes out here all the time. It is a temporary fix. The drainage needs to be addressed so that there is no standing water in the pipe.
I find it very frustrating that after complaining over 20 years this cannot be resolved.
Water does not run up hill it's as simple as that. The pipe end is below ground level.

Update: Quotes from the contractor have been received. The work should be completed in the next two weeks to one month.

Thank you but quotes for what work? Someone digging around the pipe year after year only makes the problem worse. There needs to be a concrete spillway installed to channel the water towards 8th Ave SW and the ditch graded from the pipe to 8th Ave SW down hill. Last 2 attempts with the grad-all machine and sod were instant failures at tax payers expense.

Staff completed clean up on May 8, 2017.
