Description

Hi, I know there's a ton of snow up there. The snow plows are still not plowing all of Mason Street. Coming from Rackelff Street, Mason Street extends about 50 feet past Belknap Street and past the front of our house. See the map. Since we bought the house in 1999, up until last year, all plows have plowed down Mason Street, past the front of our house, and piled up the snow at the end of Mason Street by the quince bush shown in the photo. But now the drivers just turn the corner and go down Belknap. This leaves a huge area of ice and snow that make it dangerous for trash collectors and mailmen.

In the picture, you can see a small heap of snow at the end of Mason Street because one of the drivers knows this. However the other drivers are stopping at the corner of Belknap. Today there is a giant mountain of snow and ice that we can't currently get past. I'm 62 and do not have a snow blower. I can handle my driveway but I can't dig up 50 feet of Mason Street by myself. I think the drivers think the end of Mason St is my driveway. It is not, I don't own it.

when I filed a ticket earlier, one plow came and cleaned up pretty well, but today it's back to "normal". Please talk to the plow drivers and ask them to resume what they've been doing for at least 15 years and probably longer than that - push all the snow to the end of Mason Street, where the bush is. We clean up all the gravel and leaves that get plowed up there in the spring and are fine with that because at least we can get out of our house.

Thanks!
