The light that is not working will be reported to Georgia Power. Currently, we are not changing out overhead lights in city parks but will consider it in the future.

Now the street light and the park light are both gone, I think after an accident that took out that particular utility pole. Any update on when we might expect lighting to be restored?

New lights should be optimized to face downward to limit light pollution. Agreed that some lightning should be available to improve public safety in the park.

The BUG Rating method is the current measuring system to control glare and light trespass or unwanted light for commercial outdoor lighting. Light pollution is real and negatively affects the environment. What is the current status of this park’s lighting?
