Moving a few blocks west has been an eye opener. Illegal dumping is common in this area. Our alley between 89th and 90th Avenue between 6th and 7th Street North presently has a huge TV that has been sitting by a dumpster for 2 or more weeks. The city of Largo sanitation department uses their 2 way radio for the drivers to notify dispatch and trucks are sent to pick up the items. With the transient nature of this community dumping goes unreported. We are a city that prides itself - we need to do a better job at cleaning up our eye sores...

The City of St Petersburg periodically reviews past reports that are made from citizens within our city limits, and in an effort to clean-up old issues that were resolved some time ago, we are marking as 'closed' those issues that were submitted in the past for which the work has been completed or the issue has otherwise been resolved.
