Thank you for reporting this! These lights have been broken for years. Many of these lights attached to the embankment walls look the same way. I truly hope these all get replaced but if for whatever reason they are not at the very least they should be removed from the embankment walls. They look like victims of target practice.

It looks like the responsibility for these lights was not yet determined. If these are not the responsibility of the City or PSE&G, we will make sure the broken lights are removed so as to not be a danger. Thank you for reporting this.

The lights are still out and haven't been repaired nor removed yet.

The City Electrician will investigate the lights and wiring to see what repairs are needed.

After we investigated the lights on both sides of the street in this location, the lights reported are out of service and been replaced with a projector on both side at poles #20857JC and #70888JC.
