The sensor to change the light for a car on cardinal is also not working. I had to run a red light this morning after waiting over 3 minutes. Come on APD Traffic Engineering, at least bring it up to a D- level effort here.

Had the same problem with the pedestrian signal at W. Erie this morning. I finally just crossed after waiting 2 minutes for it to change. Is the city engaged in a war on pedestrians?

Never assume intent when incompetence is an alternative.

This is a new problem all along new scotland ave. They have prioritized cars over pedestrians.

The signals at Erie and Glenwood continue to be very slow to respond when the pedestrian button is pressed.

Thank you for your comment. We made adjustment to the signal programming and then tested the pedestrian pushbuttons. After our adjustment we found the equipment working as programmed.

When were these changes implemented? I was at the light yesterday and it took almost a minute to change.

The signals were taking almost two minutes to change. One minute is the reduced time. This time is similar to the timing before the signal work was started.

1 minute is a stupid amount of time to wait any time other than rush hour. No one uses the signals anymore and just jaywalker instead. If you think that's an acceptable solution I question the competency of whoever makes the decisions. )l
