Agree totally !! The Nativity is tasteful,the rest resembles an up north yard sale.

I thought the reason they had to add the other stuff was because it wasn't a church...I could be wrong.

City was sued a few years ago, maybe even over a decade ago, about the Religious make up over the decorations. Clawson was able to keep the decorations as they were presented in Court.

My concern was that the appearance of the building looked like a mish mash of Christmas stuff. Itd be better to have nothing at all compared to what is there now. Still dissapointed. Clawson can do better. JW

Open session (mic) is offered for those who want to voice an opinion, about any thing, Council does not how any one feels, if they dont speak up. perhaps you will find out others share your same feelings.

Assigned to Code Enforcement, but no comment. Does the Mayor see these comments? Can we try and make the holiday lights/decorations look fresh and new for next year?

We will keep this issue open as it has been discussed every year and was resolved in a court case. In the past volunteers have painted the items to update them and we will take note of that again for next year. Everyone can see these issues and responses.

the two video clips above, of city council meetings, the mayor is very much involved, A council lady, asked why we dont have a menorah, since the city use to have one, a 7 million budget, I think we can afford to buy an menorah. Keep in mind, there was a ruling when city was taken to court, The city Atty. recommends we follow what the courts ruled on, that also can be seen in the video clips....... one has the city Atty's recommendations .

The concerns regarding the appearance of the Christmas decorations on the N Main side of City Hall, which have been stored until the season comes again. The change is under consideration and perhaps the ideas to be brought forth will give a new light to it.
