It's frustrating. As we were cleaning it up a few residents stopped to tell us the person they saw dumping the trash. However no one reported him. People need to report. The person doesn't even live in our community but visits everyday doing stuff. Go dump in your own community!

The problem is the City offers no enforcement of illegal dumping. The only recourse is for the public to file a civil complaint. You need at least two witness's photos or videos and a lot of time. Law corps 238-6517 lawcorps@oaklandcityattorney.org. There zero enforcement of litter, illegal dumping, spray vandalism and tagging ect that is just a few of the problem.

That's the problem. A lot of people saw him do it but no one wants to make the formal complaint. No one even reported.

The City of Oakland fixed this issue on 11/14/2016, service request #693422.
