The City of Oakland Public Works Department has received this issue. It is registered as service request #675663. Please check back for status updates, or contact us directly at 510-615-5566.
Thank you for contacting the Department of Public Works, but additional information will be needed before your service request can be processed. Can you please give an accurate description of where the graffiti is located, light pole, curb, sidewalk ect? This information will help us better process your request. Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.
The graffiti--tags are all along the entire tall cement wall on the east side of San Leandro Street from 92nd to 98th, parallel to the railroad track and overhead BART. You can't miss. It's been there for a quite a while and doesn't add a positive to our Oakland's image. Perhaps with a paint--cover that deters future graffiti--tags? Please remove--address asap. Thanks very much!
Just as Joe described it is on San Leandro Boulevard you have posted that my first posting is 511 days old that's how long this graffiti has been there thank you it would be greatly appreciated if you take care of it ASAP.
As Deacon mentioned in posting, it's been there too long. Suggest also have law enforcement(?) take photos for the record to see if it's a pattern at other places. These graffiti--taggers return soon after to be begin again. They should volunteer for a community group and do murals, instead of selfish promoting. Hopefully, sooner the graffiti--taggers are identified, caught, and convicted, they can do the cleanup at the their expense too. Our honorable city workers already have more than enough!
