The issue was assessed this morning. We will be painting the bollard to highlight contrast with the surrounding area.

Wow, someone gets the idea that bike facilities need to follow best practices just like streets. Thanks, Fran!

By the way, the reason I noticed this hazard is because my 11 year old daughter almost collided with it. She skidded and steered to the right and off the path to avoid it.

Appreciate the work to paint it. A little more paint on the ground and attaching reflectors would get this closer to 'best practices' for an insignificant cost. Thanks.

The bollard has been painted yellow and an envelope has been marked as well. Reflective tape will be placed on the post in the near future. Thanks.
