Walked by this last night, not working. Furthermore, it was never installed correctly, the fountain is crooked.

Paint is peeling and fountain isn't working.

This could become a mosquito breeding ground. If there is a Zika or West Nile outbreak in the area, it could be a public health endangerment.

Parks & Forestry is looking into repairing the fountain.

I walked by the fountain yesterday and it is still not fixed. It's truly a shame this beautiful fountain hasn't worked all spring and summer. There was also a small pool of water from the rain the other day. This was reported in mid July. Can we please have a status of this issue?

If you are worried about the Zika, which you probably should be, then go by Home Depot or the hardware store, or Amazon, and get a bag of BT biskets. You throw them in the water and they kill the larvae safely. They last a very long time too. They are good to have around the house anyway because of standing water .

Why was the ticket closed if the repairs have not been completed? Can we please keep this open until the fountain is actually completely 100% fixed?

Agreed... I know it may be hard for City officials to believe that 1 year later the fountain is still broken. What is the status of the broken pump part?
