The first tree lost was a massive one that fell over last year. More recently a massive tree just on the other side of the playground was taken down because an arborist said it was dead. At the same time a tree within the playground was removed.
It needs a sunshade or new trees to provide shade. It's no longer a fun playground to go to in the summer.
