Have you tried contacting Casella and letting them know you are talking to the city about this issue? How about your council person?

Lt. Heieck from GPD has contacted them both here and where their HQ is located. So until their drivers drive correctly down the street they'll continue to be reported.

The truck DOT # is clearly visible in the photo. It should be fairly easy for both the GPD, and Casella, to find out who the driver is and ticket him on several traffic violations each and every time he does this. Personally, I would jump in my car, drive around the block and wait until he got to the other end, then pull into the street and have him back all the way to the other end.

Since this is a on going issue, Could the residents just find a garbage contractor that is willing to abide by the law. I know this would be a hassle but could solve the issue. JMO

Please let GPD know if this condition still exists. Please call e911 and an Officer will respond. I have spoke to HQ at Casella's in VT and they understand the concern.

GPD will address this issue. I have numerous calls into the company and headquarters and apologize this has not been remedied. My direct number is 315.828.6782.

Spoke to Casella this AM, the GM is doing an employee wide training on this issue and should see immediate results.
