I have inspected this location. We will have to discuss options for this matter with the owner and through the Public Works and Utilities Committee as it is not an ideal situation for pedestrians as you have described. Will advise at a later date on outcome.

Thank you for the photo. This photo well captures compounding issues with the current configuration. I apologize that we have not progressed this concern for a long while as other previously committed projects had to be completed prior to year end. To my knowledge this configuration has been like this for decades so we are in the process of discussing options with the business for short and long term solutions for proper pedestrian connectivity to the traffic signals. This has been introduced to the Works and Utilities Committee and options will be provided in the near future. Will advise when process complete.

This item is actually going in front of the Works and Utilities Committee for discussion tomorrow. Short and long term options have been considered as well as correspondence with the building owner which has taken time to occur. Thank you for you patience.

The Public Works and Utilities Committee has agreed to continue to allow the angle parking with conditions/agreement of allowing pedestrian access along the building and modified angle parking to properly channelize the vehicles.
