Transportation Department staff have completed a crash analysis and found that there where several eastbound left-turn crashes before the City installed the protected left-turn arrows east and west bound. Most crashes now are northbound red-light running and northbound rear-ends, as a result of high speeds. The Police Department has been monitoring the intersection and enforcing the speed limit which should help reduce these types of crashes in the future.
