As a fellow user of SeeClickFix (and not a member of the Burlington govt'), I appreciate you adding these comments. However, I've received 3 notifications about issues you have with this intersection and all of those issues are within a 50 ft radius of each other.

I don't mean to cause frustration, but the Burlington Dept of Public Works and Code Enforcement. monitors this site and does an exceptional job of communicating with the public. Please, try to consolidate these compounded concerns into a single item and include additional photos. I do not want to see this system interpreted as abuse and lose the great communication with have these departments. There have been complaints and issues raised about the bridge repeatedly. I believe both Winooski and Burlington have applied for Federal grants to repair the bridge.

For what it's worth, there is presently an ongoing study and periodic public meetings on the safety of this intersection as a whole. Issue Acknowledged - Assigning to Technical Services

Brian, please continue to post each issue you see. Burlington's approach to SCF appears to be very linear. An issue is found, acknowledged, and fixed. Bundling issues together would allow for the potential for something to be missed. Thank you for reporting what you see.

This hazardous situation has not been dealt with. Since the city has extensively patched holes in the road surface throughout the city it seems like some effort could be made to apply some hot patch to these large cracks. This is an extremely dangerous situation since fast moving traffic passes close to this broken pavement which serves both bikers and pedestrians.

As you can see from issue #2452353, the city moves very fast to repair automobile infrastructure. We need also to act promptly on safety hazards that endanger pedestrians. Some of the hot patch from College street could easily have addressed this hazard.

It is inappropriate to take a trip hazard on a narrow sidewalk next to fast traffic and reclassify it as a long term priority. Cracks in the road surface presenting no danger are routinely and quickly repaired. This pedestrian hazard should be dealt with as a high priority (and easy) fix. Thanks.

Just like the heaved sidewalk near my house that needs grinding. My handicapped neighbor has an issue with it, but its been reclassified as a Capital Improvement and long-term project. I guess more people will trip on it in the mean time.
