A group of 7-10 individuals loiter daily infront of the convenience store and nail salon on Woodruff Ave between Flatbush & E 21st St starting at 7am and continue through to 2am, openly smoking and selling weed as well as openly selling crack (the latter began happening in early 2012). I learned at a recent community safety meeting that many if the dealers are well known by the patrolmen in the 70th precinct, but nothing is being done about the issue. The officers in the 70th seem content to allow this to continue despite numerous complaints by residents. When pressured, the lone solution they've come up with is for residents to take action by going out and videotaping or take pictures of the illegal activity as it's occurring.

Any suggestions on how to get the police to take action?
