To clarify my earlier, pretty negative comment: The striping and lack of signage was, and is, a GDOT project, and the ridiculous pedestrian signal was installed by a Dekalb County crew.
As far as I know, our fair city had no part in this. That said, City of Decatur administrators (and crews) have always been prompt to respond and even proactive with other agencies when an issue arises. Maybe they can help remedy this whole thing.
