This intersection is mighty busy and people indeed fly through. As an added level of terror for anyone heading east, the hill effectively hides oncoming westbound traffic.
Not sure how to make it safer, but the city would get lots of ticket money generated from this one intersection.

This location has been forwarded to the Police Department to monitor speeds. In the meantime, Neighborhood Transportation will conduct a crash analysis to see if there is anything going on abnormal.

The Mayor has asked me to respond directly to you regarding the speeding at the intersection of 38th Avenue North and Dr. MLK Street. Selective Enforcement Officer Peters monitored this intersection from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on February 2, 2016. During this time, he issued 12 citations for unlawful speed. The Selective Enforcement Unit conducts traffic enforcement in this area on a regular basis and will continue to do so in the future.
