We have seen no action taken on this issue, is it this hard to have someone to patrol Campbell Park? We're having an influx of attempted burglaries, car alarms including our own have been going off daily, and there has been instances where speeding cars have again, struck the median at high speeds, they dont even slow down for the one speedbump!

Really?! I'd call the Chief of Police, who is wonderful, first and then TBT. Sorry, I don't live in your neighborhood or I would help.

Update from Neighborhood Transportation: the St Petersburg Police Department has been notified of this complaint related to the lack of adherence to posted traffic speed signs in the vicinity of the 900 block of 9th Ave S - we have asked that they increase patrols and use other deterrent methods to help prevent drivers from breaking the law. Please report law enforcement issues directly to the SPPD by calling 727-893-7780 for non-emergencies, or 911 for emergencies.

(posted on behalf of Assistant Chief Luke Williams, SPPD) Thank you for your e-mail, SeeClickFix # 2104112, dated December 14, 2015, regarding speeding issues in the 900 block of 9th Avenue South. The Mayor has asked that I respond to you directly in reference to this issue. Officer Dennis Kelly conducted a traffic operation in the area during a recent day shift. He observed the vast majority of the vehicles travelling at or near the posted speed limit. He did issue one citation for an individual driving 14 MPH over the posted speed limit. Officer Kelly will incorporate this traffic enforcement request into his regularly scheduled duties.
