Description
Traffic signals for Ten-Ten and 401 are woefully out of sync with traffic patterns. During commute hours, the cycle for Ten-Ten traffic is way too short; traffic backs-up beyond Lake Wheeler to the north and almost to Fanny Brown in the morning, while there is little traffic on 401. It now takes over 16 minutes to go from Lake Wheeler past 401 during the evening commute. I have complained about this multiple times via the NCDOT website, only to be told "our consultants are working on it; please let us know if there are any changes". The answer is 'yes, there is a change, it is worse now than ever'!

400 Apartment units opening opening soon on the SE corner of Ten Ten & 401, plus phase II or the M/I homes on 401/Blaney Franks. Almost zero improvements planned courtesy of the Wake Board of Commissioners and NCDOT.
But... The owner of the apartment complex going in sits on his 85' 5-story yacht in the Caribbean and flies in on his private jet to check on progress...
