Code Enforcement needs to get on these properties quicker. There is also a property on 38th ave south that is vacant and grass is starting to get out of hand.
Update from Codes: the address provided does not show up as valid in our property records. Please post the address of the property where this issue can be found so that we can send an investigator to the correct location. Thank you.
I did not submit this claim today but tried to yesterday and you closed it saying that there it was not the correct address (I let the GPS on my phone register the address). It is not difficult to spot if you drive down the street.
Your department has been there in the past as there is an old notice from you on a stake in the yard by the drive. The notice is faded and illegible since it has been there for so long. Please check your records.
This really concerns me that you are unable or unwilling to do anything because of an "incorrect address" when the SeeClickFix app uses GPS. It really begs the question as to whether or not you are actually going out to check the property.
According to the county records, this property is owned but Nationsstar Mortgage. Why hasn't this issue been brought to their attention. Someone went as far as removing the house number so the property can't be identified. Why do we as neighbors have to look at this eyesore? Where are the code enforcement officers? Are we at the mercy of the banks again??
Today, I contacted the owner of the property, Nationstar Mortgage. We now know our concerns as neighbors to this eyesore. Told bank that someone may post a big sign in front of the property that says "this property is owned by Nationstar". They supposedly have owned this property for 4 years. Code Enforcement Officer is Jeannie Dunn. (727) 893-4065. Maybe if we keep hounding her she'll start pushing Nationstar harder.
Update from the Codes Compliance Department: the correct address for the property in the photo is 4101 38th Way S. An overgrowth case has already been opened and is being investigated for this reported address. Any further updates or action will be handled by the Codes department.
