Thanks for the clarification. So someone has verified/validated that the property is indeed being used more than 3 times in any consecutive 365-day period? Just because it was advertised on Airbnb does not mean it was rented out in reality.

All you have to do is look at the comments to see the rental history. I don't cruise Airbnb looking for violations. I live across the street from this house.

call make an appointment and set them up. . this is not a hotel zoned !cmon get real. it is so illegal. we have so many issues with legal places who wants strangers around all the time.

Although I am not against "legal" airbnb rentals of quaint cottages in our neighborhood, (or modern homes) this particular situation is entirely different. This property is owned by a builder (obvious due to a commercial sign stored visibly from the street) who is simply illegally renting his entire vacant investment property to recoup his carrying costs.
A builder such as he, is fully aware of the many laws and codes violations that he is guilty of. By choosing to rent so carelessly and recklessly, he is demonstrating to the city officials, codes, potential customers and the neighbors his blatant disregard for all.
If you read this Mr. McGinniss, please just stop it.

Unfortunately, most of the airbnb rentals are not legal. We will have less parking on the streets if
everyone is doing this. Not paying taxes? claiming homestead even though part is used for investment? Do we have to let it get out of control before people in the neighborhood notice this?

CITY - Do you or do you not intend to do something a out this? Partiers continue to come and go from this illegal hotel in our residential neighborhood. How about a police petson just renting a room? Our next srep, as neighbors, is to mount a protest when transients arrive. Won't be pretty, knowing this owner.

We witnessed one of the guests attempting to parallel park on the street. While doing so they hit another parked car pretty hard, causing damage to their own vehicle and a small scratch to the other. Renters drove away after checking both damages and looking around. The parked car already had multiple bruises (to say the least). HOWEVER, this is exactly the type of unspoken damage that occurs to our neighborhood when strangers are allowed to stay illegally. The city is clearly playing favorites with this builder. Darden needs to get involved.
