Where the greenway trail comes out at Oxford Rd, there are no signs indicating which way to go on Oxford to continue on the greenway(it is down on Claremont Rd). There isn't a sign at Claremont either if I remember correctly.
I know the city is installing new signage, but having NO signage is worse. How about something quick, cheap and easy like spray paint it on the pavement. That will last long enough till the new signs can be put up.
Thanks for your good work on the Greenway system. It is really a positive for the city of Raleigh.

The 2007 Parks and Greenway Bond referendum include a line item for the replacement of Park and Greenway signage. The amount of the budget was $250,000. This budget was an initial allocation to begin an incremental roll out to replace existing signage. The last phase of that roll out has been awarded. As a result, funds are very limited at this time for any additional signage.
The Parks and Recreation Department will evaluate this location against any funds remaining and priority of this location in relation to other locations. If both conditions are met we will issue a purchase order to install signs at this location.
