Description
I have lived across from Sirmon Lake/Park for over ten years. The city does a great job keeping the outside maintained but the inside of the lake is dreadful. So much grass and guck has grown underneath in the water that the fish, turtles, birds are being suffocated. The water is green (algae overgrowth) but the grass inside the lake is protruding through the water. Every year it is getting worse and more disgusting. Please help? I don't know if it is feasible but I think the lake/pond needs to be dredged and totally cleaned inside. I don't remember it ever being done since I've lived here. Thank you for listening

I'm sorry but my issue was not with spraying for mosquitos. Was my submission even read? As I stated earlier, "...The inside of the lake is dreadful. I don't have an issue with the maintenance "outside the lake/pond"! He is a good guy and a hard worker and I hope that is not how my submission came across?
My issue is INSIDE the lake/pond.

Thank you for your past submission via SeeClickFix. The City of St Petersburg periodically reviews past reports that are made from citizens within our city limits, and in an effort to clean-up old issues that were resolved some time ago, we are marking as 'closed' those issues that were submitted in the past for which the work has been completed or the issue has otherwise been resolved.
If you think for any reason that the issue you submitted in the past might still be unresolved, please feel free to submit a new report with the SeeClickFix St. Pete website and we will make sure the issue is directed to the appropriate City department to be addressed as soon as possible.
Thank you again - Sincerely,
