The dead oak tree in the front of property needs to be removed as it is harboring pests and rodents. This dead tree is an eyesore and needs to be removed as it has been rotting away there for the last four years. Enough is enough!

Update from Community Services: The reported tree is on private property. City Ordinance 16.40.060.3.1 addresses "Maintenance of trees and vegetation for all properties within the City", and it states:
A.The owner of record of the property and occupant of the property are responsible for the maintenance of trees and vegetation on private property and in abutting rights-of-way.
If the property owner feels that the tree needs to be removed, they are therefore responsible for the removal. They may wish to contact the City's office of Urban Forestry (727-892-5557) to find out if there are any permit requirements before they contact a licensed tree removal company:
