The mosquito population is already out of control. We often have standing water due to the removal of the catch basins that were formerly at 87 01 69 avenue. I've been writing to the city off and on about this for about four years now. Workers inspect, they admit that the catch basins are on the plans, but nothing is done to replace them. We need the catch basins back and as much as I hate to say it, pesticides. The summer is going to be brutal once again, if nothing is done.
