So someone , who apparently does not live on this section of North Chatham Rd, wants the county/state to repair the drain/pipe for the Little Patuxent under North Chatham. This person has never thought of the consequences of their actions.
So they do start the repair, it will take 1 to 2 months to complete(like the same repair on Frederick Rd and RT 29)
Now here is my biggest question: during this construction, when N Chatham Rd. How the H#LL are we supposed to leave the neighborhood?????!!!!!
Do you want to imagine the nightmare on North Chatham and Frederick Rd
Think about this situation really hard.
Are we supposed to make N Chatham Rd a 2-way and how do we negotiate turning onto Frederick Rd???? Taking chances with our lives? We can't possibly turn left without something to positively stop traffic (nobody would obey a temporary stop sign) then you would have to deal with sight distancing. We already know that hoco can't do anything about.
Also Hoco would have to widen the street to accommodate larger vehicles entering and leaving N Chatham Rd.....
This WILL POST A LOGISTICALLY NIGHTMARE, just because somebody wants to stop the storm water from cresting the pipe under N Chatham Rd and flooding the street with maybe 3 inches of water AND about maybe 3 times a year.
Please think about the LOGISTICAL NIGHTMARE of your simple complaint.
Dear User McKay-this is on the court and not on N. Chatham and is a simple repair to an inlet. Feel free to reach out to me if you would like to discuss further.
