Pedestrian crossing sign is needed for our safety.

Please put pedestrian crossing signs. I have had several close calls with speeding cars while trying to cross W. Grand Ave at Valley Street in Oakland.

This is a dangerous intersection and there are lots of people crossing between the parking lots and the offices!

My child walks home from school every day and this is the only part of the route with no lights to assist with crossing. There is a lot of foot traffic to the various retail establishments and some sort of crossing mechanism would probably save someone from getting hurt or killed. I live in the Broadway Grand and the sound of slamming brakes is a daily one. Please consider improving public safety for the residents and patrons of the retail establishments that are emerging here.
