To complete the report: the problem with the sign is that the arrow only points to the left. It should have an arrow pointing both ways because a bike lane is there. The reason I think this is confusing drivers is that a private school bus parks in the bike lane most of the time. I have seen a truck parked there too. While drivers should know not to park in bike lanes, the sign may be confusing them.
