Thank you for reporting this issue to the City of St Petersburg. We have reviewed the issue and have put into action plans that will resolve this request and align with other water quality goals for this lake as well.
Currently, we are in the process from transferring the sprinkler system away from reclaimed water to potable due to the high nutrients already present in the lake. Reclaimed water is high in nutrients naturally and by transitioning from that resource, we can provide a scheduled watering plan without contributing nutrients to the waterbody. This transition is scheduled to begin in late January.
Once accomplished some bank cleaning and restoration will take place and watering can begin. Over time, with the establishment of shoreline vegetation and additional rainfall, water quality is expected to improve along with the benefit to wildlife and the community, with a healthier more vibrant lake and park.
Thank you again for using See-Click-Fix and I will update this request when updates arrive. Thank you.
Michael Perry, Lake Manager, SPTO.

We have connected the current irrigation lines to a new service and are currently testing them for leaks. Thank you for your patience. We hope to have this system up and running within the next week.
