Deskripsyon

Construction began on 3/10/15 to fix a natural gas leak. Cones have been abandoned in front of house #s 4506 & 4509 since 3/11/15, and the natural gas leaks persist. Called 646-7000 on Monday 3/23/15 and was told issue was passed from City to contractors. No change in cones or leak, and no sign of improvement since March 10! I can't spend time in my front yard anymore because of the worsening stench, and it's starting to permeate my car as well. PLEASE FIX THIS! This cannot be healthy!

The Department of Public Utilities Emergency Dispatch Unit was contacted again and advised that there is still the concern of the natural gas odor/cones left behind. I've been smelling natural gas on walks in our neighborhood since winter 2013 (called multiple time, and was even told on one occasion it was "a natural upwelling," which is ridiculous). I share our neighbor's concern that this issue doesn't seem to be getting resolved.

4/07/15 The Department of Public Utilities Technicians went out again after being dispatched. They are reporting that no leaks were found and the concern has been addressed.
