We live at the part of Doncaster Drive that makes the 90 degree turn at the bottom of the hill. In the evening every night we have cars who are going east pull into the inset just before our driveway thinking that the road continues straight and not understanding the turn. Sometimes the cars are going fast because of the hill and their headlights shine on and between our house and our neighbors and the driver can't figure out what they are seeing. They stop, look around and it takes them a minute to figure out what to do. The way our house is situated, they are looking right into our main living area. We have had cars come almost into our driveway. There is a yellow sign signaling the turn a few yards up Doncaster, but people who are not familiar with the street do not see it at night. We believe that a larger sign showing the turn needs to be placed where the green street sign is on the corner. All there is on that sign is a small arrow -- the one that was pointing the wrong direction for months that was fixed last year. But it is really very small, and it does not register with drivers who have not been on this street before at night. We have placed reflectors in our yard by our mailbox, but this has not solved the problem.
