Complaint Regarding Unsafe Living Conditions and Code Violations at 1200 102nd Ave N, Saint Petersburg, Florida
To Whom It May Concern,
I am a tenant at Marisol Vista Apartments and wish to file a formal complaint concerning unsafe living conditions and possible building code violations in my apartment. The issues are as follows:
1. Damages to Interior: During an ongoing exterior remodeling project conducted by [Construction Company's Name], damages have occurred to the interior of my apartment.
2. Unsafe Balcony: The construction has resulted in the gutting of my balcony, leaving it without any railing or safety measures. This poses a significant safety hazard.
3. Moldy Insulation: In addition to the above concerns, old, moldy insulation is being covered up with thin boards rather than being properly removed and replaced. This creates potential health risks due to mold exposure.
These conditions appear to be in direct violation of the lease agreement, which states that the landlord will act with customary diligence to maintain fixtures, comply with laws regarding safety and sanitation, and make all reasonable repairs.
I kindly request that a code enforcement officer inspect the premises to assess these issues as soon as possible.
