Thanks for reporting this. Pedestrians are threatened or worse by bicycles not following the rules. Especially now that the city has chosen to put bike lanes on the sidewalk in busy shopping areas like Inman and Central Squares. Who thought that was a good idea?

Totally agree! Inman st/mass ave. Between City hall and the Post office, when pedestrians have the walk sign bikes fly thru! Did u see where they were putting a bike lane where elderly people are, the city did not involve them. One man hes 90 and will hard time get
By there! Its all so annoying! Inman is worse than before...

Beautiful new bike lanes on Hampshire St created at the inconvenience and in some cases real hardship of many long term residents. Still the bikers find a way to threaten pedestrians by not only ignoring crosswalks as they speed though them while there are pedestrians attempting to cross at a walk light, now many of them cross at crosswalks with pedestrians. No safe place for pedestrians now that this city has given in so totally to a special interest
