Description
The temporary markings from the paving jobs on Murray Hill Road and on Guilford Road have been in place for almost a month. I was told back on 7/28 that they'd be done within 2 weeks, but I'd expect permanent markings to be done more quickly on busy roads like these.
When the markings are finally done, please make sure the contractor refreshes any markings on concrete structures that were not resurfaced. After they finished paving and opened the roads to traffic, people tracked asphalt/tar onto those structures, obscuring the markings. They need to be refreshed entirely.
Also, since there is an opportunity, please have the contractor install yellow lines next to the median on Murray Hill Road. They were not there before the road was milled for repaving, and they are required per state and federal policy for these types of roads per the speed, functional classification, and volume of traffic. It was extremely hard to see the medians at night without those lines, and that is a simple fix to improve safety.

This has been left unresolved for 3 weeks, after the temporary markings had already been in place for more than 6 weeks. An update is needed ASAP - please respond.
This issue also extends to Berger Road from Snowden River Pkwy to Gerwig Ln, and Gerwig Ln from Berger Rd to Guilford Rd.

It looks like part of the work has been done, but it is still incomplete. If I had to guess, a County crew went out there and sprayed paint for the centerline and edge lines. They do not look like the higher quality lines that were there before the road was repaved.
A contractor still needs to go out there and do the real permanent lines. The stop lines and crosswalks are still not done.

Thank you for making some progress. However, there are still some outstanding issues. The stop line on Murray Hill Road at Gorman Road is still needed - this is especially important beceause it was there before repaving was done, it helps people stop at the right place and increases awareness, and it reduces the chance that someone turning left from Gorman to Murray Hill cuts the angle and clips someone stopped there.
There also need to be yellow lines along the curbed median along Murray Hill and white edge lines along the outside curbs. At night, the median and the curbs are hard to see.

Several weeks have gone by, and this is still an issue. The following locations on Murray Hill Road still do not have the markings that were previously provided before repaving: stop line approaching Gorman Road, turn lane at Hamilton Kings Place Apts, turn lane at Clocktower Ln.
As mentioned before, there still need to be yellow lines next to the median along the entire stretch of Murray Hill from Vollmerhausen to Guilford. When the crew is out there finishing up the final markings from repaving, please add these.
Lastly, since the road was opened soon after paving was done around the bridge at the Middle Patuxent River, the markings on the structure are obscured from the dragged asphalt/tar. Please refresh those markings.
