Gary-thank you for reaching out to us with this. We aren't "passing it off" to anyone; easements only provide access to utility providers and remain private property. Just because an easement exists, doesn't mean the area within it is automatically something the municipality maintains. In this case, an easement exists on both properties in abutment to Bear Creek, and the vegetation in those easements is part of the greater stormwater management system. I'm forwarding this request to our Stormwater Maintenance Team to evaluate. Again, thank you!
Chris
