Maria-thank you for reporting this. Based on the photo, the catch basin lid appears to be seated properly on its base. When comparing historical photos of this location show to the photo provided, you can see minor soil erosion on the property adjacent to this installation. We'll have someone ensure the lid is seated is in its proper position, but as the erosion is outside the normal patch of stormwater runoff, the restoration of the grass and soil near the catch basin may fall to the homeowner. What is a Ballard?

A traffic Ballard is a plastic device to deter vehicles from hitting catch basin lids, but will not damage vehicles.

When is it being installed? My cone got stolen again!
