Description

I have requested help from Shane Largent that went nowhere at the time. I explained this to Bonnie Green, Code compliance officer and didn't really know how it was left. Now, I am filing an official complaint. My neighbors began by having a 150+ oak tree removed from their backyard for room to park a boat and because of mosquito complaints from Inga Nash. I did not contact anyone, but I did take video and pictures to show the act and to show the size of this tree! I wanted a recording if this trunk hit my home because it was an enormous piece left intact that was dropped over. Time passes and the Nashs hire another tree service to remove a 50+ year old oak from their front yard for the instillation of solar panels. I contact Shane Largent and we discuss this whole case in great detail. He was familiar with these trees in the front yard. He gave them permits/permission to remove ONE of the trees in the front yard, which they did, the northern most tree. At the time of our conversations, I told Mr. Largent that I was very upset about the way they left the remaining tree. I wanted Mr. Largent to come see for himself what they had left of the remaining tree! I do not believe this ever took place. I wanted to know if they had a permit for the older tree in the backyard. He had NO knowledge that this tree had been removed. He mentioned, he did not remember them asking for or receiving a permit/permission to remove this older tree in the backyard.

My complaint is because of safety to my home and property that I own next door (7225) They cut the remaining oak in the front yard, southern most tree closest to my home and property, so far back that we honestly thought the tree would die and they would have to remove it so we waited a bit to see what would happen. I took numerous pictures!! I must add that Mr. Shane Largent had told me during our conversation that he did NOT give them permit or permission to cut down the second oak in the front yard so they cut this oak back off their property as far as they possibly could before it either killed the tree or made it fall. They only left the branch overhanging my property and home, more than half way of the trees trunk! Now, this tree is in no way stable for hurricane season or even a wet season anymore. You will see in my pictures that this tree is no longer safe as the way they cut it it leans so hard towards my property with that is left, it is set up to fall my way! It has put my complete property in jeopardy of being hit by this 50+ year old oak! Now the tree also needs to be trimmed off my roof and I do not want to touch any part of this tree. If I do something at this point such as trim I could kill the tree and THEN become responsible for the trunk. I refuse to be responsible for their misled mistakes! I have taken a whole host of pictures at different times and seasons to see how this tree might survive, fill in or just fall. I will be sending these in for this case.
