Please, please, please.... this is a neighborhood road with lots of elementary school age children that people use as a Thruway to avoid 16th Street stop sign. At times people are going 30 plus miles an hour down this road. In the mornings, to avoid the school crossing zone on 16th Street, people are using this as the through road. We have requested numerous occasions this road looked at the possibility of installing speed humps. Please have somebody to review the traffic calming on this section thank you
Alley has 22 potholes some as deep as 5-1/2 inches (see photo). Road is unsafe and low cars can bottom out. During heavy rains some garages flood.
Given the tax rate we all pay, alleys should be maintained annually. Please note that those potholes are mostly located where the garbage trucks rapidly slams their brakes to pick up garbage cans.
We have lived here for almost 9 years and have never seen maintenance done in alley.
Prompt response will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
There are speed humps on both 12th St N and 14th St N between 70th St N and Meadowlawn Dr N. Because of this, people use 13th St N to speed through to get to the main streets of our neighborhood. There are many kids on our street and we worry for their safety because of the speeding cars.
Canal is overgrown AGAIN. this is a constant problem!
Once again We find the city is not maintaining its own property to the level it requires its citizens to maintain. Canal between lake and 77th ave has grass that does not comply with city codes that states grass may not be higher then 10".
Can someone at the Mayor's Action committee please tell me why city property is not required to be maintained to the same level as citizens of St. Petersburg? If my yard looked this bad you would be fining me $500 per day untill it was corrected. maybe the salaries of the Mayor's Action committee should be docked that amount until the issue is corrected.. It would only be fair.
