This intersection is constantly litered with trash. The garbage cans in the area were removed and now the streets are litered with trash and SMALL PLASTIC BAGS of garbage. Please return the garbage cans. Thank you.

Agree, please return garbage cans to the intersection of nostrand and avenue I. The other day I, literally saw cartons of food trays stacked on the side of the street.

Community Board 14 informed the Dept. of Sanitation of this issue on 12/07/11. We will leave this case open until we receive a response from the agency stating how the issue will be resolved.

Jumaane Williams is the council man that resides over this district and despite posts to Twitter and this site about this issue, his office has been negligent about the trash in my neighborhood.

In the past few months the lot owner seems to be regularly cutting the grass and removing the trash from the property. Hopefully it continues.
