corner traffic visibility issues !

Thank you for your request, this corner ramp has been added to the list of citizen requested ramp replacements. Replacements will be made as funds are available.
This issue will be forwarded to Community Standards to address the issue with the shrub.

Any progress on this issue? It's been submitted for over a year now.

This vegetation issue was addressed by the City's Engineer who has the proper knowledge of compliance dealing with traffic view hazards on 8/1/2016. A code violation notice was issued for the vegetation creating a view hazard.

Again, any progress on this issue? It's a much bigger ADA issue than most of the slabs being replaced.

The vegetation is in compliance at this location according to an inspection completed on 8/5/2016.

It appears that our lousy councilman Chip Smith, smith muddied the request because he doesn't like honeysuckle. I do believe this complain is about a sidewalk that needs modernizing, not some shrub trimming request. Chip, Don't you have some deer to torment somewhere?

I do believe this complaint is about a sidewalk that needs modernizing.

There is an election coming up, vote accordingly.

The city is planning to add this location to the Capital Improvement Plan to secure funding. There will have to be a full design to improve the situation.

This has been known to the city and discussed (under the context of "very dangerous" steps) going back to 2017

That article refers to the Third/Krause corner as "costly". How costly? Unknown. And there's no sign of that corner being called out in the CIP, which you'd need to do if it's going to be costly you'd need to budget for it and not just lump it into the cheap stuff that can be fixed with signage.

It's budget season! Time to put this into the plan.

What are the city's concrete plans for addressing this sidewalk hazard?

This issue has been brought to our attention again, and we can appreciate the frustration. It is expected to be added as a project to the Capital Improvement Program for budget allocation in the next cycle.
