No sense in reporting if it was valued <$2k. These people know there are no consequences for this type of behavior if caught. Police wont even bother responding if under $2k. Thats what I was told when this happened to me. “There’s nothing we can do”.

The last time I tried to tell FedEx were to deliver stuff you had to pay for an annual membership. Glad to hear it's changed. Next time, maybe try offering a friendly suggestion instead of snarking that your neighbor is making demonstrably fallacious claims. Maybe other people's experiences are not the same as your experience . Just a thought. I also have video of them chucking it from the sidewalk so that seems "demonstrably accurate".

I'm with EMB: kindness goes a long way. I also have video of FedEx drivers throwing packages to my stoop from the street.

The app for FedEx has a setting where you can elect to have your packages left at whatever entrance you like. I did not have to pay for this service.
