Drivers "floor-it" between JFK and Montrose- in attempts to make thru the traffic light at Montrose intersection. Keep in mind, this section of Manhattan Ave is all residential and has many children playing outside at all times.

We would not be able to place a speed hump here, but does anyone have any other suggestions? While our traffic engineers will have plenty of ideas, they like to hear what the community suggests as well as specifics as to the challenges here. I know you noted speeding. Let us know if there are any other issues to take into consideration.
I noted that it touches upon two parks. If there are any schools near by, that would help also?
